About Our Pearl Jewellery
Azalea Jewellery was started after years of trying to find affordable but luxurious, inspiring and pretty pearl jewellery. As a working mother in my 30s, I resented having to blow a serious amount of cash on pretty, high quality jewellery which was not made from platinum and huge yellow diamonds. After a lot of research, I realised that the mark-up on jewellery is enormous. So, I decided to have a go at designing and selling pearl jewellery at realistic and fair prices.
So after a lot of tears, not enough laughter and more than my fair share of tantrums, here we are.
If you hear "pearls", what pops into your head? 9/10 of you will think of an old necklace which is dragged out on special occasions. We want to make pearls wearable and accessible for all age groups and fashion tastes. So we use Sterling silver and semi-precious stones as well, to bring pearls into the 21st Century, without them becoming too space-age.
